Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of this site, the weekly Marketing Sled, and the editor’s other public commentary. They’re written so a first-time reader can follow them. Subscriptions, payments, refunds, and cancellations for the Trend Sled are handled on the Ghost site that hosts Trends-Led Intel — the relevant clauses below tell you exactly where each one lives.

Service

What Trends-Led Intel is

Trends-Led Intel is the editorial imprint of Syncresis, run by Christopher Fox. It publishes two products: the Marketing Sled, a free weekly briefing that lands in subscriber inboxes on Wednesdays, and the Trend Sled, a gated, paid monthly and annual publication for marketing leaders, bank strategists, and capital-markets innovators who want the working frameworks behind each trend.

This site is the public home for both — a marketing surface, an archive of public commentary, and a way to subscribe to the free weekly. It is not the subscription platform. Paid membership, billing, and account management for the Trend Sled are handled on the Ghost site that hosts the publication.

Editorial arrives on the cadence the editor sets, not on a service-level contract. We do not guarantee any specific feature, framework, frequency, or commercial outcome from reading the briefs. Treat the analysis as the editor’s reading of the moment, not as a forecast or a recommendation.

Acceptable use

Acceptable use of this site

Read the site. Forward the weekly to a colleague. Quote a paragraph from a brief in a slide deck with attribution and a link back to the source. That’s the shape of use the publication is built for.

You agree not to:

  • Scrape the site or the briefs at scale, or otherwise access it with bots or automated tooling beyond what ordinary public web browsing permits.
  • Resell, republish, or commercially redistribute briefs, frameworks, or any marked portion of the editorial without written permission.
  • Probe the site’s security, attempt to break rate limits, or try to read other readers’ data through the platform.
  • Impersonate the editor, the publication, or Syncresis in correspondence, marketing, or third-party platforms.

No account

No account or billing here

This site does not hold an account for you. It does not store payment details and cannot process a payment, a refund, or a cancellation. Subscription, billing, payment, refunds, and cancellations for the Trend Sled are handled on the Ghost site that hosts Trends-Led Intel — the same flow described in the /faq page.

If you need to make a payment change, request a refund, or end your membership, sign in to the Ghost account you used at purchase and follow the membership or billing steps there. Anything you do on this site — subscribing to the free weekly, sending a message through the inline form, browsing the archive — is separate from your membership.

Intellectual property

Who owns the editorial

All editorial on this site — briefs, frameworks, graphics, newsletter copy, public commentary — is © Syncresis and Christopher Fox. The briefs are written for personal reading. You may quote brief excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the source page or issue; wholesale reproduction, retransmission, or commercial repackaging is not.

The publication’s name, wordmark, and the names “Marketing Sled” and “Trend Sled” belong to the same owner. Do not use them to label or endorse a derivative product, a third-party service, or a competitive newsletter without written permission.

Liability

Liability cap

The site and the editorial are provided “as is.” The publication makes no warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, and it does not promise that reading the briefs will produce any particular commercial or strategic outcome.

To the maximum extent the law permits, the aggregate liability of Trends-Led Intel, Syncresis, and Christopher Fox for any claim arising from your use of the site or the editorial is capped at the fees, if any, you paid to Trends-Led Intel in the twelve months before the claim. If you are a free reader and never paid a fee, that cap is effectively zero.

Governing law

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the editor’s home jurisdiction. The specific jurisdiction, court venue, and any consumer-protection carve-outs are confirmed by the owner before the Trend Sled paid tiers go live.

Until that confirmation lands, no reader should treat the placeholder above as a settled choice of law for any dispute.
